Do you ever wonder how highways are designed? Who plans them? Who builds them? Join us at MathDOT to find out! In this 8-session program (2 sessions a week), students will assume roles such as project manager and lead engineer during this Department of Transportation-inspired program. Through gameplay, you will explore concepts like fractions, mathematical operations, geometry, and place value to build a 3D structure using mathematical computation and planning.
This program is an 8-week program for ages 9-12. There are 2 sessions each week on Tuesdays and Wednesday beginning on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 and ending on Wednesday, August 11, 2021.
Session 1 meets from 3:00-4:00 PM
Session 2 meets from 4:00-5:00 PM
The program is limited to 10 students per session.
Cost: $50 per child
Group rating 2+ children: $45 per child
